Western Conference Wins Inaugural NBA 2K League All-Star

The NBA 2K League Western Conference won the inaugural NBA 2K League All-Star after sweeping the Eastern Conference in two games. T-Wolves Gaming’s Dhwan “Shifty Kaii” White was named the 2021 NBA 2K League All-Star MVP.
The inaugural NBA 2K League All-Star took place at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, NY on Saturday, Sept. 25 with games simulcast live on the NBA 2K League’s Twitch and YouTube channels. Players competed on PS5 consoles in NBA 2K22’s Pro-Am Mode in a 5-on-5, best-of-three series. The NBA 2K League will award a $25,000 prize pool with the Western and Eastern Conference receiving $18,000 and $7,000, respectively.

Tonight, the NBA 2K League presented eight awards that honored top performers from the 2021 season. The 2021 NBA 2K League Season Award winners are as follows:
Most Valuable Player: Enrique “630” Xavier Barraza (Pacers Gaming)
Defensive Player of the Year: Justin “Just Awkward” Howell (Wizards District Gaming)
Rookie of the Year: Enrique “630” Xavier Barraza (Pacers Gaming)
Most Improved Player: Christopher “Duck” Charles (Knicks Gaming)
Coach of the Year: Patrick Crossan (Wizards District Gaming)
· Sportsmanship Award: Mihad “Feast” Feratovic (Gen.G Tigers of Shanghai)
· Fan Engagement Award: Jazz Gaming
· Play of the Year: LordBeezus Game Winner, 2021 Playoffs
The All-NBA 2K League Teams will be announced the week of September 27.
