Additionally, TBShiftay must smother Dre defensively and create turnovers in order to slow him down offensively. Also if he is able to create mayhem defensively and Kai is able to light it up from downtown, there’s no doubt in my mind that T-Wolves Gaming will walk away with the victory to open the SWITCH OPEN. Will T-Wolves Gaming continue to ride the momentum or will they be victim to an upset loss vs 76ers GC?

 

76ers GC comes into the SWITCH OPEN looking to right the wrongs from a disappointing SLAM OPEN that included a loss to ametur team Dot Squad, ultimately spoiling their chances to make bracket play. First up in the SWITCH OPEN for 76ers GC is a fiery T-Wolves Gaming Squad. In order to pick up a much needed win, Dre must be able to remain effective from the field in order to keep up with Kai, who is a dominant scorer in his own right. He also must find a way to minimize his mistakes offensively. Furthermore, UnderRatedGoat must be able to rise to the occasion defensively and force some turnovers. If he is able to contain Kai defensively and Dre is able to go shot for shot with Dre, 76ers GC will walk away from this series with the upset victory. Will the slow start to the season continue to hinder 76ers GC, or will they be able to start the SWITCH OPEN off on the right foot?

Kings Guard Gaming vs Knicks Gaming 4/4 6:00 p.m. ET

 

Kings Guard Gaming is desperately looking to rebound after a disastrous start to the season. After not making bracket play in the SLAM OPEN, they must look forward to the SWITCH OPEN with their first challenge  featuring a matchup vs Knicks Gaming. Several questions remain for this group: Does Kerry have what it takes to slow down the dynamic Knicks Gaming offense led by Malik or will Malik end up having his way with Kerry offensively. Additionally, Regg must step up to the challenge to give Kings Guard Gaming the offensive boost they so desperately need. If Kings Guard Gaming is able to find a way to contain Malik and effectively hit their shots without turning the ball over, this will end up being the biggest upset of the season thus far. Does Knicks Gaming march forward with the series victory, Or does Kings Guard Gaming have what it takes to respond with their backs against the wall to pull off the  miraculous upset? 

 

Knicks Gaming is looking to bounce back after a disheartening loss against the Glo Navy Glosquitos in bracket play of the SLAM OPEN. With the SWITCH OPEN starting, Knicks Gaming now awaits their first opponent in Kings Guard Gaming. In order to come out with their first victory, Malik has to knock his open shots from downtown and facilitate while keeping his turnovers to a minimum. Also, Stick must go on a rampage defensively in order to contain Regg and keep him out of any potential offensive flow throughout the series. If Knicks Gaming is able to execute, they  walk away with a series victory in commanding fashion. 

 

Prediction: Knicks Gaming defeats Kings Guard Gaming 3-0 in the best-of five series 

 

NBL Oz Gaming vs Hornets Venom GT 4/6 8:15 p.m. ET

 

NBL Oz Gaming enters their matchup vs Hornets Venom GT after a series versus the Gen.G Tigers. After placing top six at the SLAM OPEN, they are looking to continue to build off of the momentum that they have from the start of the season. How does NBL Oz Gaming capture the series win vs Hornets Venom GT? The answers are simple, they must capitalize on their open opportunities by knocking down their shots offensively, which we saw was challenging at times throughout the SLAM OPEN. Moreover, LawRich faces the unsettling task of trying to stay in front of electrifying point guard Bouji. If LawRich is able to rally the troops defensively and limit Bouji’s looks from the field, this will be NBL Oz Gaming’s best chance  to close out the series with a victory. Also, NBL Oz Gaming must knock down their open shot opportunities throughout the series. The question remains which version of the team are we going to see, the team that’s consistent on both sides of the ball or the team that is plagued by offensive inconsistencies?

 

Hornets Venom GT looks to flip the script from the SLAM OPEN, where they lost the series vs Wizards District Gaming, failing to make bracket play. Now, they can only look forward as they get ready to face off against the NBA 2K League’s newest expansion team in NBL Oz Gaming.  Hornets Venom GT must find stability from beyond the arc throughout to make sure that it’s a tough day at the office for LawRich. Additionally, Bouji must facilitate efficiently and not turn the ball over to ensure a clean game offensively. In the end, Saint must smother Jyden on the defensive end to make sure he isn’t able to catch fire from beyond the arc. He must create pressure defensively to force turnovers and convert those turnovers into points. In the end, this gives Hornets Venom GT the best chance to walk away with the victory.

 

Prediction: NBL Oz Gaming defeats Hornets Venom GT 3-2 in the best-of five series
