NBA 2K League’s Women in Gaming Initiative

This fall, for the first time, the NBA 2K League collaborated with two Pro-Am teams, BallHerAlert and HeartCrushers, which featured some of the top female 2K players as they competed in Pro-Am tournaments.

From November – December, the NBA 2K League hosted remote gameplay sessions where top female 2K players were matched up with 2K League pros in 5-on-5 scrimmage play.  All sessions were attended by NBA 2K League coaches, GMs and scouts.

A selection committee comprised of NBA 2K League representatives will consider top performers identified across all parts of the Women in Gaming initiative, including the camp, Pro-Am teams, and remote gameplay sessions, for eligibility for the 2021 NBA 2K League Draft.

In all cases, draft eligibility is contingent on passing a background check and satisfying all NBA 2K League eligibility requirements.

Additional details about the 2021 NBA 2K League Draft will be announced at a later date.  For more information, fans can follow the NBA 2K League on Facebook (NBA 2K League), Instagram (nba2kleague), TikTok (nba2kleague), Twitch (NBA2KLeague), Twitter (NBA2KLeague), and YouTube (NBA 2K League) and visit NBA 2K League.com.
