A PROFUSION OF POINTS: With two victories in Week 9, Celtics Crossover Gaming extended their regular-season winning streak to five games. Shooting guard Alex “ProFusion” Snowden erupted for 65 total points in the two games, earning him the Intel Player of the Week Award for Week 9. The veteran tallied 35 points in a 92-44 victory over Warriors Gaming Squad while adding 30 points and six steals in an 81-58 win over Mavs Gaming.

RIDING THE ROOKIE WAVE: On Friday, June 21, NetsGC defeated Heat Check Gaming 71-66 in a critical matchup for both teams’ playoff aspirations. Rookie point guard Isaiah “Wavy.Zay” Hancock had 30 points and nine assists in the contest. Later in the night, Brooklyn would earn a 69-52 over Bucks Gaming behind 30 points from rookie Joel “Lav” Lazu. Also in that contest, rookie center Aziz “Shuttles” Salem posted a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds.

MAMA, I’M GOING BACK TO THE PLAYOFFS: After recording a 67-55 victory over Pistons GT on Friday, June 21, Blazer5 Gaming officially clinched a spot in the 2019 NBA 2K League Playoffs. Point guard Nidal “Mama Im Dat Man” Nasser continued his remarkable season with a double-double of 20 points and 13 assists in the game. Nasser had 26 points and eight assists in that contest. Earlier in the night, Portland posted a 63-59 victory over Jazz Gaming. With the two wins in Week 9, Blazer5 Gaming improved to 12-1 in the 2019 regular season.
