HELLO, OLD FRIEND: Former Pistons GT teammates will square off when Ramo “Ramo” Radoncic (left) and Pacers Gaming visit Frederick “Doza” Mendoza and Raptors Uprising GC on Thursday, June 6 at 8 p.m. ET on Twitch and YouTube. Ramo was traded in the offseason to Indiana while Doza went unretrained and was subsequently selected by Toronto in the 2019 Draft. The two were key members of the 2018 Detroit squad that went 9-5 in the 2018 regular season and earned the No. 3 seed in the 2018 Playoffs. Both players will be looking to lead their teams to a crucial victory for playoff positioning.

MOUNT VERNON REUNION: Mount Vernon has now produced three NBA 2K League stars: Aaron “Arooks” Rookwood (Bucks Gaming), Shaka “Yeah I Compete” Browne and Lytel “Lotty” Martin (Heat Check Gaming). The three players are best friends and have played on the NBA 2K competitive scene with each other for years. While Browne was an Uber driver prior to joining the NBA 2K League, Martin is currently a police officer for the Mount Vernon (N.Y.) Police Department. Martin began playing NBA 2K in 2002. Before becoming a police officer, Martin was a preschool teacher and basketball coach. To see more of his story, click here. All three players will be competing on Friday, June 7. Rookwood and Bucks Gaming will take on Magic Gaming at 6 p.m. ET. Two of the three best friends will collide when Browne and Jazz Gaming go up against Martin and Heat Check Gaming at 9 p.m. ET. All three games will be livestreamed on Twitch and YouTube.
