HOMECOMING
After being traded for Jordan “JMoney-Rep817” Martinez, Miami-native Brandon “Hood” Caicedo will suit up for his hometown team, Heat Check Gaming. The 2018 first-round pick averaged 17.5 points per game in the 2019 season for T-Wolves Gaming. Hood will make his debut on Wednesday, May 15 at 8 p.m. ET against Cavs Legion GC, the team that drafted him in 2018. Later that night, Heat Check Gaming will host undefeated Pacers Gaming at
10 p.m. ET.
SAME FACES IN NEW PLACES:
In addition to the Hood-JMoneyRep817 deal, there were also two more trades prior to Week 5. Cavs Legion GC traded Gerald “Sick x 973” Knapp to Raptors Uprising GC for Trevion “All Hail Trey” Hendrix (left), and Pistons GT traded Andrew “MrStylez_” Valle to Hawks Talon GC for Devin “DevGoss” Gossett. Cavs Legion GC, Pistons GT, and Hawks Talon GC will be in action this week while Raptors Uprising GC returns in Week 6.
WARRIORS COME OUT TO PLAY:
Leaving Las Vegas with THE TURN powered by AT&T championship banner and with two games scheduled in Week 5, Warriors Gaming Squad will look to capitalize on that momentum and improve to 5-2 on the 2019 regular season. 2018 second-round pick Alexander “Bsmoove” Reese (left) currently leads the league in scoring at 24.4 points per game and Xavier “Type” Vescovi is averaging a double-double with 14.3 points and 12.7
rebounds per game. Warriors Gaming Squad will visit Magic Gaming on Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. ET and host Lakers Gaming on Friday, May 17 at 8 p.m. ET.
PACING FOR SIX:
Undefeated in the 2019 regular season, Pacers Gaming will look to improve to 6-0 with two games scheduled in Week 5. Pacers Gaming will host Kings Guard Gaming on Wednesday, May 15 at 7 p.m. ET, and will visit Heat Check Gaming at 10p.m. ET. Pacers Gaming point guard Matt “Matty” Grant netted 31 points in a 61-57 victory over Magic Gaming in Week 4 and is looking to deliver another exciting performance this week.
