By earning this honor, the NBA 2K League ranks among the top 10% in each category with nearly 13,500 entries from 70 countries worldwide.

The 2020 NBA 2K League season, highlighted by the league’s innovative remote production model, is nominated in the General Virtual & Remote: Sports category. In six weeks, the league implemented a completely new and cutting-edge production model for the 2020 season that allowed all 23 teams to compete remotely from their local markets.
