NBA 2K League Earns Two 2021 Webby Awards Nominations

The NBA 2K League earned two nominations at the 25th annual Webby Awards, which will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 18. The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet. By earning this honor, the NBA 2K League ranks among the top 10% in each category with nearly 13,500 entries from 70 countries worldwide.
The 2020 NBA 2K League season, highlighted by the league’s innovative remote production model, is nominated in the General Virtual & Remote: Sports category. In six weeks, the league implemented a completely new and cutting-edge production model for the 2020 season that allowed all 23 teams to compete remotely from their local markets.
