Nets GC power forward Jin “Jin” Choe has been disqualified from the NBA 2K League and any of its teams, it was announced today by NBA 2K League President Brendan Donohue.

Following an investigation, the NBA 2K League determined Choe impermissibly shared accounts while participating in the NBA 2K21 MyTeam Unlimited $250,000 Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 20, thereby violating tournament rules and enabling another player to improperly advance in the tournament. Choe had competed previously using his own account to attempt to qualify for the tournament and had been eliminated from the competition. By engaging in impermissible account sharing, Choe compromised the integrity of certain games during the tournament.

Nets GC will receive a compensatory third-round pick in the 2021 NBA 2K League Draft, which will be held Saturday, March 13.
