Season Summary:

The team from the District had a very successful Year 1 in the NBA 2K League. Led on offense by League Scoring Champ, Boo Painter (32.3 PPG), Wizards District Gaming finished the regular season with an impressive 8-6 record and qualified for the postseason as the No.7 seed. They were unfortunately eliminated in the opening round but finished the season very strongly which gives them plenty to build off of heading into the 2019 Season.

Returning for Wizards District Gaming in 2019 will be leading scorer Boo Painter (32.3 PPG & 7.7 RPG) and floor general Demon JT (12.9 PPG & 5.0 APG). Also joining the team from the District will be Dayfri formerly of Mavs Gaming. Dayfri was acquired in a trade in exchange for a 2019 First Round Draft Pick (14th Overall). He averaged 19.1 PPG, 7.0 RPG & 3.0 APG  during the 2018 regular season. The trio gives Wizards District Gaming plenty of offensive firepower to build around as they head into the 2019 Draft and Season.
