2021 NBA 2K League Combine: Everything You Need to Know
January 26, 2021
The NBA 2K League Combine is back! This year’s gauntlet for draft-eligible players will look a little different than the combines we’ve hosted in previous years, so here’s everything you need to know heading into next week.
The four-day virtual event, Monday, Feb. 1 – Tuesday, Feb. 2 and Friday, Feb. 5 – Saturday, Feb. 6, will feature draft-eligible players from the NBA 2KL Draft Prospect Series, NBA 2K League “Drop-In”, international qualifying events, and the Women in Gaming initiative, competing in front of league coaches, GMs and scouts for a last chance to raise their draft stock.
The first two days of the event will consist of scrimmages between all players, with all stats being recorded. Based on a combination of stat analytics and requested prospects via team managers, the NBA 2K League will invite a select group of prospects to continue competing on Friday and Saturday’s closed combine.
Players can play on the next-gen version of NBA 2K21. Each day will include 4-5 rounds of best-of-one gameplay, with each round starting at a pre-specified time.

In all cases, draft eligibility is contingent on passing a background check and satisfying all NBA 2K League eligibility requirements.
