The NBA 2K League will present 10 major awards that honor top performers from the 2019 season. The Intel Performance NBA 2K League Awards are as follows: (1) Intel Performance NBA 2K League Most Valuable Player, (2) Intel Performance NBA 2K League Defensive Player of the Year, (3) Intel Performance NBA 2K League Sportsmanship Award, (4) Intel Performance NBA 2K League Rookie of the Year, (5) Intel Performance NBA 2K League Coach of the Year, (6) Intel Performance NBA 2K League Fan Engagement Award, (7) Intel Performance NBA 2K League Play of the Year, (8) the 2019 All-NBA 2K League First and Second Teams, (9) NBA 2K League All-Defensive Team, and (10) NBA 2K League All-Rookie Team.

The awards will be decided on by players, team managers, media, on-air talent, fans and/or NBA 2K League officials. All awards will be announced and/or presented during the 2019 NBA 2K League Playoffs.

Intel Performance NBA 2K League Most Valuable Player Award

Nomination Process:

Team managers (one per team) and all NBA 2K League players will have the ability to vote for five players to be a finalist for the MVP award. The five players that receive the most votes will be named MVP finalists and eligible to be voted upon the final vote.

2019 MVP Finalists will be announced on Friday, July 12. Fan voting will begin at 6 PM ET and conclude at 11:59 PM ET on Friday, July 19.

Vote Weighting:

• ⅓ of the vote – Players
• ⅓ of the vote – Team managers, league officials and media
• ⅓ of the vote – Fans
  • Will able to vote on the channels below:
    • Retweet the league’s tweet for each candidate
    • NBA2KLeague.com
    • Fans are eligible to vote once through each method

Intel Performance NBA 2K League Defensive Player of the Year Award

Vote Weighting:

• ½ of the vote – Players
• ½ of the vote – Team managers, league officials and media

Intel Performance NBA 2K League Sportsmanship Award

Vote Weighting:

• ½ of the vote – Players
• ½ of the vote – Team managers, league officials and media

Intel Performance NBA 2K League Rookie of the Year Award

Vote Weighting:

• ½ of the vote – Players
• ½ of the vote – Team managers, league officials and media

Intel Performance NBA 2K League Coach of the Year

• ⅓ of the vote – Players
• ⅔ of the vote – Coaches/team managers

All-NBA 2K League Teams, All-Defensive NBA 2K League Team, and All-Rookie Team

The All-NBA 2K League First and Second Teams will recognize the ten best players in the league by their respective positions. Each team will be composed of five players.

• ½ of the vote – Players
• ½ of the vote – Team managers, league officials and media
• Each vote with consist of two backcourt and three frontcourt players
  • Players with the most votes will make it to the First team. Players will the next highest totals will make it to the Second team.

Intel Performance NBA 2K League Fan Engagement Award

Awarded to two players who demonstrate outstanding fan engagement through community service, local business initiatives and/or social media.

• Winner will be determined by league officials.
