Kapp grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He comes from a family of six with two younger brothers and an older sister. He attended high school at The Scholars Academy where he was a three-sport athlete playing basketball, baseball, and running cross country. He was a 1,000-point scorer in high school basketball and his jersey was retired. He was the Wingate award winner and was selected on the 2017-18 All-State third team. He received multiple Varsity letters to participate in college athletics. Kapp attended and played Division 1 baseball at LIU Brooklyn. He made the NEC Spring Academic Honor Roll in 2019. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in health science. He was the assistant coach of his former high school varsity basketball team and won back-to-back championships in 2021 and 2022. Kapp was drafted in 2022 in the NBA 2K League by Magic Gaming with the 10th overall pick. Later that year he was traded to Wizards District Gaming where his team was the Slam open champion, 1x Turn finalist, and runner-up in both the 5v5 and 3v3 championships in the fifth season of NBA 2K League. Kapp was retained by Wizards District Gaming to play in the 2023 season. In the off-season leading into the 2024 Season, he was traded to Mavs Gaming.
