FantaSZN grew up in San Francisco, California and he has been gaming competitively since he was 12 years old with the hopes of being a professional Call of Duty player. He credits gaming, basketball, and mentors in his life for keeping him on the right track and off the streets.
Fanta played competitive AAU basketball before locking in on NBA 2K. He experienced more success playing NBA 2K, which inspired him to stream, create content, and enter ProAm tournaments where he was able to compete with league players. Before the 2022 draft, Fanta and his team made it to the finals of CLTX Gaming’s Draft Prospect Series tournament. The team ended up winning the tournament which gave Fanta draft eligibility, and he was drafted #7 overall in the 2022 Season Draft. Fanta sat out of the 2023 season and focused on his streaming and content creation. Competitively he switched from playing point guard to playing the shooting guard position. Mavs Gaming drafted Fanta in the 2024 NBA 2K League Draft and expects the 2023-24 season to be his best yet.
