76ers Gaming showed why they’re the No. 2 seed with a blistering 76-61 win over Grizz Gaming in the first Round of 16 match at THE TURN on Friday.

With this being a matchup between the No. 2 and No. 15 seeds, it wasn’t expected to be a close matchup. Few could have predicted just how lopsided it would actually end up being, however. Despite AuthenticAfrican trying to get his teammates in a rhythm in the opening minutes of the first quarter, the Grizz were wholly unprepared for what the 76ers were about to unleash in this game.

After the teams traded buckets en route to an 8-8 tie with 3:38 left in the first quarter, the 76ers kicked off an 18-4 run that blew the game wide open and they never looked back. Philadelphia continued to pour on the points to open the second quarter with a 10-0 run that put the game completely out of reach. The 76ers were simply too strong on both defense and offense for the Grizz to handle, as Philadelphia held Memphis to under 50 percent shooting in the blowout win.

The entire 76ers squad was putting up points with ease, but it was Radiant who really showed off to keep Philadelphia on cruise control. He had 11 points in the first quarter alone before ending the game with 29 points and 11 assists. He was just one of four players on the 76ers that ended the game in double digits to complete the breezy victory. While the final score only saw them win by 15, they came into the 4th quarter with a 27 point lead before letting up a bit in the final quarter of the game.

76ers Gaming will now move on to the quarterfinals where they will face either Heat Check Gaming or Wizards District Gaming.
