Kings Guard Gaming ended their nine-game losing streak in the nick of time, defeating Pacers Gaming 73-67 on the final game of the NBA 2K League regular season.

With both teams out of playoff contention, the final contest of the inaugural year wound up being a showcase game for worthingcolt as the small forward tallied 20 points by the end of the first half. He would go on to nearly double that total, finishing Saturday’s contest with 39 points on 19-of-28 shooting, while also collecting seven rebounds and two assists. Mootyy would also contribute to the box score, tallying 15 points and nine rebounds while also being a nuisance in the paint.

Pacers Gaming struggled to defend worthingcolt, but they didn’t get a balanced scoring attack from their offense. Usual standout WoLF 74 once again contributed to his team’s final line as the scorer led his team with 26 points and eight assists while newcomer Shockey tossed in a double-double, contributing 14 points (7-of-8 from the field) and 11 rebounds. It would have been interesting to see how this Indiana team would have fared if they had Shockey all season, as the really seemed to gel alongside power forward FrostyTheTruth throughout the final weeks of the inaugural campaign.
