76ers GC’s season has been a disappointment, but redemption is in store for the eventual winner of THE TICKET, powered by AT&T, and thanks to some excellent play from Radiant, Steez and Skretty, they held on to win the series against the Gen.G Tigers, 2-1.

Game 1 started out evenly, but the 76ers took their first step toward transforming this game into an absolute blowout with a 26-9 second quarter. Radiant and Scretty let the threes rain down in this frame, and the Sixers’ defense gave standout guard ShiftyKaii fits. He finished the first half well on the way to an eight-turnover total for the game. The onslaught continued in the second half and the 76ers appeared to give up on the game in the fourth quarter in hopes of regrouping for the second game. Radiant has 42 points and 11 assists in the 110-65 win, and Steez pitched in with 33 points.

After a huge blowout, it’s rare that a team is able to recover, but the Tigers did just that in Game 2, and while it wasn’t a convincing blowout, they made some defensive adjustments that effectively shut down Radiant and Scretty for most of the game. The Sixers never had the lead in this game, and with the 79-69 win, Gen.G forced this series to a third game.

The Sixers stamped their ticket to the second round against the Hawks later in the evening with a convincing 99-70 win. The third game proved that the team’s fortunes ride squarely on Radiant and Scretty’s shoulders. They combined for 10 threes, and the team was red hot from long range, making 15 of 21 attempts from downtown.

Gen.G Tigers’ season comes to an end with the loss. 76ers GC moves on to meet Hawks Talon GC in a double-header game on Friday.
