Raptors Uprising GC rout Hawks Talon GC

Raptors Uprising GC doubled-up Hawks Talon GC in the second quarter en route to a 92-65 win during THE TURN, Powered by AT&T on Wednesday.

The Hawks were sharp on defense to start Wednesday’s contest, yielding one made field goal to the Raptors in the first three minutes of the game while pulling ahead by multiple scores. However, Raptors Uprising GC turned their focus to the interior, as BallLikeSeem accounted for six of the team’s first eight points before antoinelove drilled a three-pointer to tie it up at 11 with a minute left. From there, Haam would knock down another three-pointer and the Raptors would lead 16-13 after one quarter. The Hawks wouldn’t trail for long, as MDS hit a game-tying three-pointer just seconds into the second quarter. From there, however, the Raptors dominated. The Hawks deficit ballooned into double figures with three of the Raptors’ first five baskets coming from beyond the arc as part of an offensive onslaught. As they watched the Raptors lead grow, Hawks Talon GC began to settle for poor looks from three-point land and the team shot just 1-for-6 from long distance in the quarter. With a deep three-pointer at the buzzer from antoinelove, Raptors Uprising GC entered halftime ahead 42-26. BallLikeSeem totaled 14 points on 7-for-7 shooting with six boards and a pair of steals during the first half, while antoinelove fell one assist shy of a double-double. No Hawks playerscored in double figures, with MDS pacing the team on nine points.

Both offenses crawled out of the gates in the third quarter, combining for six points in the first two minutes. However, they soon hit their strides and the Hawks even began to mount a comeback. Hawks Talon GC got the difference to as little as 10 late in the third, but the Raptors pushed back with a pair of three-pointers in the final 15 seconds to take a 59-45 lead into the fourth. Raptors Uprising GC had no issues in the fourth quarter, cruising to a 92-65 victory. Antoinelove went for 20 points and 20 assists in the contest, while BallLikeSeem put up 25 points on 12-of-13 shooting. For the Hawks, Duck chipped in 14 points and 14 assists, while UnderRatedGoat went for 12 points.
