T-Wolves Gaming had to play two extremely tight contests, but they had enough in them to complete the sweep over the NetsGC on Thursday night during THE TURN, powered by AT&T.

The T-Wolves had to come from behind to secure a Game 1 win over NetsGC, as the Nets jumped out to a 17-13 lead in the first quarter. That would change quickly before the break, however, as the T-Wolves responded with a 27-17 second quarter that boosted them to a 40-34 lead at the break. The T-Wolves would further enhance that advantage with a 17-14 third quarter.

Despite having a nine-point deficit entering the fourth quarter, NetsGC were never “out” of the game itself. In fact, the Nets won the final quarter by a 20-14 score and finished Game 1 with the sensation that they could’ve done a bit more had they had a few more minutes on the clock.

Big Saint (24 points) and JMoney (21 points, two assists) were the top scoring threats for the T-Wolves in Game 1, but BearDaBeast left his mark with 13 points and 15 assists. Meanwhile, FEAST notched 10 points with 17 boards. Choc paced the Nets with 24 points, while Randomz added 10 points and Wavy chipped in with 19 points. Shuttles only scored six points, but he added 10 boards to the losing cause.
The T-Wolves had to work hard again in Game 2, as the Nets proved to be a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the court. However, a 16-9 lead in the first quarter set the tone for the rest of the game. The rest of the game was quite tight — as evidenced by a combined score of 57-53 for the T-Wolves — but the Nets couldn’t complete the comeback. The T-Wolves tightened things up defensively down the stretch and earned a 73-62 win that gave them a 2-0 victory in the matchup.

Big Saint carried the T-Wolves offensively in this game, as he finished with 26 points while shooting 11-for-14 from the field. BearDaBeast also delivered an excellent performance since he chipped in with 16 points and 18 assists while turning the ball over “only” five times. FEAST played a pivotal role in the win as well, notching 18 points with 21 rebounds.
At the other end, Wavy led the Nets with 18 points, while Potts notched 16 points and Choc filled the stat sheet with 14 points, five boards, three steals, two assists, and two blocks.
