Kings Guard Gaming delivered a dominant performance in Game 1 and, even though they couldn’t repeat that same effort in Game 2, they still had enough in them to complete the sweep over the Knicks Gaming on Thursday.

Kings Guard Gaming had one of the best offensive performances of the entire NBA 2K League season, as they surpassed the three-digit mark in a comfortable 102-46 Game 1 win. The Kings were so dominant that their worst scoring quarter (21 points, first quarter) was better than the Knicks’ most prolific quarter (15 points, fourth quarter) by six points. The Kings jumped to a 21-12 lead in the first, and they would never look back. Their dominance was also reflected in the numbers.

Kings Guard Gaming shot 44-for-56 from the field, and they were absolutely dominant on defense as well – they forced 24 turnovers – and generated contact, as the Knicks committed 13 fouls.

Bash led the Kings with 30 points and 17 assists, while Crush notched 32 points with seven steals, and he also made 15 of his 17 field-goal attempts. Dat Boy Shotz filled the stat sheet with 14 points, seven assists, and six boards, while Yusuf_Scarbz posted a 20-point, 14-rebound double-double. Duck had 29 points and eight assists for the Knicks, but he also turned the ball over 15 times.

The Kings were unable to repeat the same degree of dominance in Game 2, but they still managed to jump to a 21-15 lead in the first quarter. That would be everything they would need the rest of the way. The Knicks tightened things up defensively, but they were unable to take advantage of their chances. The rest of the game was fairly close — 15-15, 14-16 and 21-18 for the Knicks — but they couldn’t complete the comeback. As a result, the Kings won the matchup 2-0.

Bash had 14 points and 13 assists, while Seemo notched 22 points (7/9 from three-point range). Dat Boy Shotz also had 22 points, while Yusuf_Scarbz grabbed 18 boards. Duck had 28 points with eight assists in Game 2, while HazzaUK posted eight points, 18 rebounds and four assists. CantGuardRob (12 points, two rebounds, two assists) and OriginalMalik (10 points) also delivered solid performances for the losing side.
