Jazz Gaming too much to handle for Jazz Gaming

Magic Gaming and Jazz Gaming closed out Week 7 of the NBA 2K League Saturday night, as Jazz Gaming took Game 1, 75-59. Game 2 was more of the same as Jazz Gaming swept by Magic Gaming 83-65.
Game 1 was all Jazz from the word “go”, pulling out an 11-point lead halfway through the second quarter and not looking back. Jazz Gaming seemed eager to put Magic Gaming away early and Magic Gaming just had no answer as the lead grew to 13 by halftime, with Jazz Gaming firmly in control. Magic Gaming started to bring the game back in the third quarter, though a late surge kept Jazz Gaming with a seven-point lead heading into the fourth quarter off the back of GetOnMyLevel hitting repeatedly from three. In the end Jazz Gaming doused the fire and took the win, 75-59.
Magic Gaming got points from everywhere with 13 from Reizey, 10 from FutureClutch and 15 each from DT and Snubby, but couldn’t keep up with firepower from Jazz Gaming. Splashy led the way with 29 points while Ria ended with 14 points and 14 rebounds, and GetOnMyLevel finished with 19 points, including going 5-of-11 from beyond the arch.
Game 2 was much closer, as Magic Gaming showed that they really could keep pace with Jazz Gaming. Keeping the good form of the second half of Game 1, Magic Gaming took a one-point lead into halftime following a strong 20-point second quarter. The second half looked more like Game 1 as Jazz Gaming put up 50 points in the second half compared to only 31 from Magic Gaming to take the game, and sweep, 83-65.
Magic Gaming once again put together a stellar team effort, as Reizey put together a 12 point, 14 assist double-double, with May adding his own 16 point, 11 assist double-double. Splashy’s 30 point and 11 assist performance, as well as Ria’s 16 points and 13 rebounds were just far too much to handle for Magic Gaming though.
