Mama Im Dat Man Leads Team to Sweep with Multiple 30-point Games

Kings Guard Gaming swept their Friday night series against Lakers Gaming thanks to a couple of strong performances from point guard Mama Im Dat Man.

Mama Im Dat Man started Game 1 hot as he scored or assisted on each of his team’s first 21 points. For Lakers Gaming, point guard ReeseDaGod led the way. By the end of the quarter, it became evident that the game was going to be a battle between ReeseDaGod and Mama Im Dat Man. Lakers Gaming led at the end of the quarter, 25-21. ReeseDaGod finished the first with 12 points and two assists, while Mama Im Dat Man ended with 15 points and three assists.

In the second, Mama Im Dat Man and ReeseDaGod continued to play well and lead their team’s offenses. Lakers Gaming held a lead for most of the quarter but they ended the half tied 41-41. Kings Guard Gaming saw most of their production from Mama Im Dat Man, who finished the half with a game-high 25 points to go along with five assists. ReeseDaGod and Lakers Gaming shooting guard BOHIO produced a combined 27 points while ReeseDaGod contributed a game-high seven assists by halftime.

The second half remained close until Kings Guard Gaming went on a run to pull out to their biggest lead of the game at 60-53. Mama Im Dat Man continued his brilliant performance as he finished the third quarter with a 32-point 10-assist double-double. Kings Guard Gaming led at the end of the third quarter, 64-58.

A dominant start to the final quarter by Mama Im Dat Man allowed Kings Guard Gaming to take a 75-66 lead which they managed to hang onto for the rest of the game. Kings Guard Gaming ended up winning Game 1 83-74, thanks to great games from Mama Im Dat Man and center MaJes7ic. The two stars combined for 59 points, 17 assists, 16 rebounds, a steal and a block. Lakers Gaming saw most of their production from ReeseDaGod, who finished Game 1 with a 24-point 13-assist effort.

In Game 2, ReeseDaGod and Lakers Gaming center Tactuk led their team to an early lead. Mama Im Dat Man woke up a few minutes into the game and helped pull Kings Guard Gaming on a dominant run to end the first quarter up 22-17. ReeseDaGod finished the first with 10 points and two assists, while Mama Im Dat Man ended with nine points and four assists.

Kings Guard Gaming enjoyed a lead for most of the second quarter but a late run near the end of the half allowed Lakers Gaming to go into the halftime break only down 40-37. ReeseDaGod accumulated a game-high 23 points to go along with three assists and his teammate Tactuk logged seven points, eight rebounds and three assists by the end of the half. Mama Im Dat Man continued to lead Kings Guard Gaming with a 17-point, seven-assist effort in the first half.

A slow start to the second half allowed Kings Guard Gaming to hold onto their lead for most of the third quarter. Mama Im Dat Man scored his team’s final six points in the third quarter to give his team a 58-50 lead going into the fourth.

Kings Guard Gaming opened the final quarter of Friday’s series on fire as they burst out to a 71-54 lead with three minutes left in the game. Lakers Gaming was unable to come back from their 17-point deficit and lost Game 2 79-72. Mama Im Dat Man carried his team again in Game 2 with an impressive 30-point 12-assist effort.

Kings Guard Gaming is currently on the bubble of The Ticket, powered by AT&T, while Lakers Gaming will need a strong showing in The Ticket, powered by AT&T, if they want to make the postseason.
