Pacers Gaming (4-11) took on Magic Gaming (5-9) to open the final week of the 2K League regular season. Both teams are out of playoff contention but Magic Gaming came to play in this series.
Game 1 began with a 16-10 first-quarter advantage for Magic Gaming thanks to five points apiece from Reizey and ToXsiK. A dominant second quarter fueled Magic Gaming to a 39-20 halftime lead thanks to nine more points from Reizey, eight from Profusion and six turnovers from Pacers Gaming.

Pacers Gaming didn’t go away quietly in the second half, outscoring Magic Gaming 21-8 and cutting the lead to six. The teams went back and forth in the fourth quarter, and Pacers Gaming got within five with under 30 seconds to play before Magic Gaming put it away and won 63-58. Reizey scored 15 of his team-high 29 points to lead the way for Magic Gaming, while Swizurk led all scorers with 36 in the losing effort.

Despite the closely-contested Game 1, Game 2 was all Magic Gaming from opening tip. The team raced out to a 38-19 halftime lead thanks to a big 14-point half from Profusion and quickly pushed the lead to 60-35 after three quarters. Pacers Gaming made up a little ground in the fourth quarter, but Magic Gaming finished the contest with a 79-60 victory to complete the series sweep and take the win.

All of Magic Gaming’s starters finished with double-digit points, as Reizey (21) and Profusion (20) led the way for the second game in a row. DT came through with a big 14-point, 14-rebound double-double to go with six dimes. Swizurk led Pacers Gaming with 23 points, while Jomar provided 10 points and 14 boards.

The story of Game 2 was turnovers and threes. Pacers Gaming lost the turnover battle 16-11 and fell behind significantly in the long-range game 15-6, accounting for the big disparity in points.
With the win, Magic Gaming improves to 6-9 and will finish the season Thursday against T-Wolves Gaming. This was the last game of the season for Pacers Gaming, which ends the year with a 4-12 record.
