Nets GC (7-5) faced off against Grizz Gaming (6-6) on the second night of Week 10 action. Game 1 was a close contest through the first two quarters, as Nets GC took an early 33-28 halftime advantage and a 50-44 lead heading into the fourth quarter. However Grizz Gaming made it a game late. AuthenticAfrican hit two free throws with 31 seconds to go up 62-61, but a quick three on the other end put Nets GC up 64-62. AuthenticAfrican played the hero, as he hit a basket in the paint with 3.8 to tie it up. A miss from Nets GC sent the contest into overtime.

Choc finished the regulation with 25 points and 11 assists, while Shuttles provided 14 points and 17 boards. Vandi led the way for Grizz Gaming with a game-high 42 points to go with eight assists and three steals. In the overtime period, the teams traded buckets to stay even at 67 apiece, but Nets GC went on a 13-5 run to end the game and take the victory 80-72. In extra time, Choc fueled Nets GC to the win, going for six points and three assists.

Grizz Gaming took the early lead in Game 2, going up 17-14 after the first quarter thanks to six points from GOOFY757. Nets GC regained the lead with a strong second quarter, taking a 30-27 lead into halftime thanks to eight points and 13 boards from Shuttles. Grizz Gaming came out hot in the third quarter, and the team went up 46-42, thanks to the stellar play of Vandi and AuthenticAfrican, who combined to score 15 of the team’s 19 points. From there, Grizz Gaming put its foot on the gas and comfortably took the victory 64-52 to even the series at a game apiece. Vandi led Grizz Gaming with 21 points, eight dimes and four swipes, while GOOFY757 did his part on the boards, finishing with 14. Choc notched a second straight double-double with 20 points and 10 boards, while Shuttles came away with a massive 12-point, 21-rebound, six-block stat line that wasn’t enough to get the win.

Game 3 began with a 21-18 Nets GC advantage in the first quarter, but Grizz Gaming flipped the script in the second quarter and took a 43-32 halftime lead thanks to a massive 27-point first-half effort from Vandi. That lead ballooned to 64-46 after the third quarter before Grizz Gaming finished the game off 90-69 to take the victory and win the series 2-1. The big victory is thanks to a massive stat line from Vandi, who totaled 54 points, seven assists and four steals. GOOFY757 chipped in 13 points, 19 rebounds and four blocks in the winning effort.
