Kings Guard Gaming didn’t have problems defeating Pistons GT 2-0 during their three-game set on Wednesday evening.

Kings Guard Gaming started Game 1 with the foot on the gas and quickly jumped to a 23-14 lead following the first quarter, and Pistons GT didn’t have answers for them on either end of the court. The Kings took full advantage of that and extended their lead to 16 points by the half-time break, putting themselves up 49-33. The Pistons showed some signs of a turnaround, though, as they won the third quarter by a 17-16 score.
That wouldn’t be enough to complete the comeback and, in fact, Kings Guard Gaming stepped their game up in the final minutes. A 21-13 fourth-quarter score allowed Kings Guard to win by a comfortable 86-63 score. The main difference in Game 1 was turnovers, as the Pistons committed 15 of them, including nine by point guard Demon JT, while Kings Guard Gaming lost the rock “only” 10 times.

Bash was the best player for Kings Guard Gaming in Game 1 thanks to 37 points, 12 assists, four steals, while Seemo chipped in with 22 points and Dat Boy Shotz added eight points, 10 boards, six steals and five dimes. The Pistons posted a balanced attack and all five of their starters scored in double digits. LYKaPRO paced them with 16 points while Ramo and Demon JT each added 13 points.

Game 2 started far more balanced, although Kings Gaming still secured a 17-16 lead following the first quarter. Pistons GT evened things up at the halftime break thanks to a 13-12 score, and all signs pointed to a low-scoring affair in the second half. We couldn’t have been more wrong, though, as Kings Guard Gaming pulled away for good with a strong third quarter.

Indeed, the Kings won the third quarter by a 24-17 score — nearly matching their scoring output of the entire first half — and cruised their way towards a comfortable Game 2 and, ultimately, a series sweep. The Pistons didn’t back down at any point, but the Kings won the final quarter by a 21-15 score and ended securing a 13-point win in Game 2, 74-61.
Bash had 20 points for Kings Guard Gaming, and he also added seven assists. Seemo notched 15 points, Crush posted 13 points with six steals, and Dat Boy Shotz chipped in with 17 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists. Demon JT led the Pistons with 25 points and three assists, as well as adding five steals. Ramo posted another double-double, as he finished with 10 points and 15 boards.
