Pacers Gaming took on the defending champion T-Wolves Gaming on Wendesday in what would prove to be an exciting series. Game 1 began slowly, with a 25-23 T-Wolves advantage at halftime. That lead was extended in the third quarter, and T-Wolves Gaming led 43-40 heading into the final frame. Pacers Gaming did just enough in the fourth quarter to notch the game at 58 apiece and send the contest into overtime. The extra period remained close until the final minute. Knotted up 60-60, BOHIO pulled up from the parking lot and drained a go-ahead triple on the way to a 67-62 win. Swizurk led Pacers Gaming with 22 points, BOHIO added 17 and six assists and Jomar double-doubled with 10 points and 17 boards. BearDaBeast led the way for T-Wolves Gaming with a game-high 30 points, Detoxys went for nine points and 10 boards and FEAST finished with nine points, 12 boards, six assists, three blocks and three steals.

Despite being down 1-0 in a closeout game, T-Wolves Gaming couldn’t find an answer for the sharpshooting of Pacers Gaming in the first quarter of Game 2. Pacers Gaming went 9-of-13 in the opening period, including 5-of-7 from long-range. BOHIO led the way with 12 points, and NateKahl put up nine of his own as Pacers Gaming jumped out to a 28-18 lead after the first quarter. That lead would shrink quickly, however. Midway through the second quarter, T-Wolves Gaming got hot thanks to some quality scoring from BearDaBeast and three offensive boards from FEAST, who ended the half with six points and seven boards. Up by as many as 14, Pacers Gaming took a 40-35 lead into the third quarter.

T-Wolves Gaming kept it close early into the second half, getting to within 42-39. From there, it was Pacers Gaming, which went on a 15-5 run to build a healthy 57-44 lead entering the fourth quarter. With Pacers Gaming up 61-58 with under a minute to play, Jomar grabbed two offensive boards before kicking it out to the corner for a clutch three that extended the lead to 64-58 with just under 40 seconds remaining and iced the game. Pacers Gaming took the win with a final score of 67-60 and completed the sweep of the defending champs.

BOHIO and NateKahl each scored 21 in the winning effort, while Jomar worked his magic on the glass with 14 boards. BearDaBeast led all scorers again with 22, and FEAST came away with a second straight double-double thanks to 14 points and 15 boards. It was a huge victory for Pacers Gaming. After starting the season 1-3, Pacers Gaming have rattled off three straight wins to improve to 4-3. T-Wolves Gaming, on the other hand, falls to 5-3 with a second straight loss.
