NetsGC and Hawks Talon GC played an entertaining first quarter that ended 34-34, and it seemed as if this game was going to be one of the highest-scoring contests of the 2020 NBA 2K League. However, Hawks Talon couldn’t score 34 more points the rest of the way and NetsGC topped that mark down the stretch. It seemed as if Hawks Talon were going to run away with the contest following an 11-3 score in the second quarter, but NetsGC flipped the script after the break. A 21-15 third-quarter score made things closer heading into the final frame, and they completed the comeback with a 12-6 fourth quarter. As a result, NetsGC secured a Game 1 victory with a 70-66 score.

Choc paced NetsGC with 45 points and four assists, while shooting a solid 18-for-29 from the field. He was the only Nets player to rack up double-digit points, but he was well supported by Shuttles, who added 14 rebounds and nine assists to his six points and three blocks. BP finished with 24 points and seven assists, but he wasn’t the leading scorer on the Talon squad. That honor belonged to Kel, who chipped in with 26 points while shooting 9-of-18 from the field. Lee, meanwhile, contributed a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds.

NetsGC dominated the second game of the series and quickly established dominance with a 20-10 score after the first quarter. They wouldn’t relinquish that advantage and cruised their way towards an easy Game 2 win by a comfortable 79-43 score. NetsGC won every single quarter in Game 2 – 20-10, 18-11, 18-15 and 17-13, respectively. It was one of their most dominant wins of the season and it was aided by their efficiency. They took care of the ball and took advantage of their chances to claim the win rather easily.
Choc was once dominate for the Nets, as he finished Game 2 with 34 points and seven assists. Chess finished with 11 points, two rebounds and three assists. Wavy notched 15 points, while Shuttles chipped in with 17 rebounds, six assists and three steals to supplement his two blocks and four points. At the other end, BP had 23 points for Hawks Talon, but his efforts weren’t enough. Lee delivered a strong effort despite the loss, racking up 12 points and 11 rebounds.
