Bucks Gaming put up a good fight, but Blazers Gaming ended up claiming the three-game series win Tuesday to kickstart Week 4 of the NBA 2K League.

Blazers Gaming destroyed Bucks Gaming in Game 1, and it wasn’t even close. Aided by a stellar performance from MamaImDatMan, who topped the 75-point plateau and was quadruple-marked at one point of the game, Blazers Gaming ran away with the game in impressive fashion. They quickly built a 33-11 lead following the first quarter, and they kept increasing it as the game progressed. Blazers Gaming won every quarter separately 22-17, 27-22 and 23-21, respectively. The game was over by halftime, but Blazers Gaming didn’t step the foot off the game and ended winning by an expressive 105-62 score.

As outlined above, MamaImDatMan scored 77 points after shooting 30-of-35 from the field and 7-of-8 from three-point range while also adding eight assists. He was short of the all-time record of 84 points, but his effort was impressive nonetheless. MaJes7ic was the only other Blazer who reached double digits in scoring with 11 points, but the team didn’t need the rest of the lineup to step their game up thanks to the performance of their star point guard. Regg led the Bucks with 17 points and 12 assists, but it wasn’t enough. Arooks notched 11 points while Squidris chipped in with 17 points and eight rebounds.

Bucks Gaming started Game 2 with a different attitude, and that was noticeable as soon as the ball started bouncing. A 23-19 lead in the first quarter – led by an inspiring performance from Regg, who carried the team all game long – put the Bucks in the driving seat. They further extended their lead to 16 points after a 28-16 second-quarter score. Blazers Gaming stepped their game up after the break, however, and reduced the gap to just five points (64-59) ahead of the final quarter. Blazers Gaming made it close and were down by two at one point, but the Bucks wouldn’t let the contest escape away from them. They tightened things up and ended winning Game 2 by an 83-72 score.

Regg paced Bucks Gaming with 30 points and 17 assists, while Arooks chipped in with 26 points. Ty contributed 14 points, and Squidris was a monster in the paint with 13 rebounds. MamaImDatMan finished with 32 points and 11 assists for Blazers Gaming, but the rest of the team didn’t accompany him that much. OneWildWalnut notched 12 points and 12 rebounds, while OOC Slim posted 18 points.

Game 3 was a back-and-forth contest, as evidenced by how close the score was during the first half. Bucks Gaming jumped to a 19-17 lead in the first, but Blazers Gaming stormed back and secured a three-point lead at the break (35-32) following a 18-13 second-quarter performance. Things remained intense in the final two quarter and, at one point, it was a two-possession game. The Blazers made the big plays down the stretch, though, and they ended winning by a 71-65 score.

MamaImDatMan was excellent once again, as he ended with 42 points while dishing out six assists. OneWildWalnut contributed 14 points, 20 boards and three assists – he also made a huge impact in the game. Regg scored 33 points for Bucks Gaming and added six assists, but he lacked company offensively. Squidris also chipped in with a strong double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds.
