Heat Check Gaming cruised against Grizz Gaming and secured a 2-0 series win during Wednesday’s matchup.

Heat Check Gaming started Game 1 on a strong note and quickly jumped to a 27-17 lead following the first quarter. They kept that momentum going and secured leads in both the second (21-15) and third (22-18) quarters, cruising their way towards an enormous advantage. Grizz Gaming won the fourth quarter by a 17-15 score, but it wasn’t enough to pull a comeback. Heat Check won the contest with absolute ease by a 86-67 score.

GlennRatty shined with a 40-point, eight-assist performance, while HotShot chipped in with a double-double of 14 points and 15 rebounds. Delusion (11 points) and TBShiftay (11 points) also contributed in double-digit scoring. Vandi paced Grizz Gaming with 26 points and 10 assists, but the rest of the team wasn’t up to the standards required. Jrod chipped in with 10 points, while G O O F Y 7 5 7 ended with 18 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.

The second game started on a similar note to Game 1, as Heat Check Gaming posted a comfortable 21-18 lead, only to see it increase at the break to 11 points following a 20-12 second-quarter score. Grizz Gaming looked far better in the second half, winning the third quarter by a 17-16 score and the fourth one by a huge 19-9 advantage to push into OT. However, they didn’t have enough in them to come back once again. Heat Gaming ended winning the series with a 79-73 score.

GlennRatty was dominant in Game 2 once again, posting a 35-point, four-assist, three-rebound performance. TBShiftay and Delusion each added 12 points, while Hotshot posted 11 points, 16 boards and seven assists. Vandi paced Grizz Gaming with 26 points and nine dimes, while Jrod added 23 points. G O O F Y 7 5 7 contributed 11 points and 11 rebounds, while also adding four assists.

Grizz Gaming will play Friday on the road against Kings Guard Gaming. On the other hand, Heat Check Gaming will face 76ers GC on May 28.
