Kings Guard Gaming withstand early deficit to stand victorious over Lakers Gaming

In the final day of the second week of THE TIPOFF, presented by AT&T,
Lakers Gaming took control of the game early, winning the first frame 26-9 as they dominated on both ends of the floor. Kings Guard Gaming started clawing their way back with an 8-0 run to start the second frame, but both teams traded buckets for the rest of the half, and Lakers Gaming entered halftime with a nine-point lead.
Kings Guard Gaming continued their momentum in the second half, and they turned it up on offense in the third quarter with 25 points, 14 of which came from Fatstop, who could not be stopped from three-point range. His buzzer beater at the end of the frame gave Kings Guard the lead heading into the final six minutes of regulation. Buckets were traded and forth, with VooVc making a critical three with less than a minute left to tie the game. But back-to-back threes from ScoreSzn and Fatstop gave the Kings a six-point lead, which was enough to improve their record to 3-3 for THE TIPOFF. Meanwhile, Lakers Gaming dropped to 1-5, with their only win coming in a 114-103 victory over Blazer5 Gaming on May 15.
All five Lakers Gaming players ended Friday’s contest with double-digit points. They were led by a double-double performance from ShiftyKaii, who finished with 20 points, 12 assists and two steals. Krazy added 13 points, nine rebounds and four assists, while YooVc supplied 12 points, two rebounds, five assists and two steals. Dvnxsty added 11 points, two rebounds and four assists, while Trellyb had 11 points, two rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals.
Fatstop led Kings Guard Gaming with 30 points on 9-for-14 shooting (including 6-for-8 from three and 6-for-6 from the charity stripe), along with one rebound and eight assists. ScoreSzn finished with 21 points, four assists and one steal while going 5-for-10 from deep. Kerry tallied nine points, three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal, while Bray added eight points, one rebound, one assist, one block and one steal. KIK6 did dirty work with four points, 12 rebounds and four assists.
