Warriors Gaming Squad defeated Lakers Gaming, 63-58, in THE TIPOFF, powered by AT&T, on Friday.
Warriors Gaming Squad and Lakers Gaming were in line to deliver one of the most anticipated games of THE TIPOFF, powered by AT&T, and they didn’t disappoint. In a back-and-forth contest that saw both teams playing with intensity, Warriors Gaming Squad executed better down the stretch and thrived defensively to secure the win over Lakers Gaming. Despite the fact Warriors Gaming Squad looked slightly better early on, neither team grabbed the lead in the early stages of the contest, with the first quarter ending 16-16 and the first half seeing a one-point lead for Warriors Gaming Squad. Warriors Gaming Squad improved their defensive play in the second half and limited Lakers Gaming to just 24 points in the entire second half. That was enough to close things out, as Warriors Gaming Squad simply performed better when it mattered the most.
CB13 impressed for Warriors Gaming Squad and finished with 18 points and 12 assists. Mama Im Dat Man recorded 16 points, two assists and three steals. Kenny Got Work delivered nine points. Nay had a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds, but he also added three assists. Seese had four points and six rebounds.
Krazy was the leading scorer for Lakers Gaming with 26 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Trellyb was the only other player who scored in double digits after ending with 10 points and two steals. ShiftyKaii had nine points and 14 assists. Dynxsty posted four points. YooVc had nine points and two rebounds.
