Raptors Uprising GC stayed hot in their second series of Group 6 pool play in THE TIPOFF, powered by AT&T, sweeping Lakers Gaming with a pair of blowout victories.

Lakers Gaming kept Game 1 close in the first quarter, as they trailed 16-15 at the end of the quarter. However, Raptors Uprising GC pulled away in the second quarter and never looked back. Toronto led 43-31 at halftime and continued their surge during the second half as they coasted to a 105-59 win.

On the Raptors side, Kenny Got Work nearly outscored Lakers Gaming on his own, as he finished with 58 points, eight assists and two steals. Sick One nearly logged a triple-double with 12 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists, while ReeceMode (18 points, five steals, four assists) and Legit (13 points, four rebounds) also put together noteworthy performances. SAV had a double-double for Lakers Gaming with 19 points and 11 assists, but he also committed 13 of the team’s 19 turnovers. Kev matched SAV’s scoring total with 19 points along with two rebounds, and Dweq finished with eight points, six rebounds and two steals.

Although they had a smaller margin of victory in Game 2, Raptors Uprising GC jumped out to an earlier lead, carrying their momentum from the first contest to secure a 24-11 lead at the end of the first quarter. The lead remained relatively steady over the next two quarters, with the Raptors ultimately pulling away with another large victory, this time 91-53.

Kenny Got Work led Raptors Uprising GC in scoring once again with 31 points, six assists and four steals, but Sick One wasn’t far behind with 30 points, 17 rebounds and six assists. Timelycook was effective on both sides of the ball with 14 points and six steals, while ReeceMode also managed to log a double-digit point total with 10 points and three assists. For Lakers Gaming, SAV picked up another double-double with 20 points and 10 assists, but he struggled with ball control again, committing 11 of the team’s 23 turnovers. It was a similar story for Dweq, who recorded 14 points and 14 rebounds while also giving up eight turnovers.

Raptors Uprising GC wraps up Group 6 pool play in THE TIPOFF, powered by AT&T, with an undefeated record, while Lakers Gaming will take on Gen.G Tigers later Wednesday.
