Kings Gaming Squad secured a 2-0 win over Hawks Talon GC in Tuesday’s final matchup of THE TIPOFF, presented by AT&T.

The Hawks jumped to a tight 22-20 lead following the first quarter of Game 1, but they wouldn’t be able to maintain that lead for an extended period of time. In fact, Kings Gaming quickly flipped the script to the tune of a 19-6 second quarter and would never look behind. They won the remaining two quarters as well, 17-10 and 17-15, respectively, on route towards a big 73-53 statement win in Game 1.

Bash led Kings Gaming Squad in Game 1 with 23 points and 11 assists, while Seemo chipped in with 12 points, four assists and three steals. Yusuf_Scarbz and Dat Boy Shotz both contributed 18 points, although the latter also added nine boards and five dimes. BP and Kel each had 19 points for Hawks Talon in Game 1, but no other Hawk scored in double digits during this sounding defeat.

Game 2 started just like the previous one, with Hawks Talon jumping to a 18-13 lead. Unlike the previous contest, however, Kings Gaming had to wait a longer period of time to mount the comeback. They won the second (16-15) and third (20-19) quarters, however, so the final period saw the Hawks up by three points. Kings Guard Gaming came through in the clutch, though, and a 17-11 fourth-quarter score saw them earn a tight 66-63 victory.

Bash paced Kings Gaming once again, as he ended with 23 points and seven assists, while Seemo added 14 points on 50 percent shooting from the field. Yusuf_Scarbz had 12 points and Dat Boy Shotz chipped in with a double-double of 14 points and 16 rebounds. BP paced Hawks Talon with 29 points and 13 assists, while Lee also contributed a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds. Kel had 17 points.
