“The NBA 2K League Draft represents the beginning of a new chapter each year for our league, teams and players,” said NBA 2K League CEO Andrew Perlmutter.  “Over our six seasons, the league has hosted events globally and we’re thrilled to return to Full Sail University and share this exciting edition of the Draft with their students and local Orlando fans.”

The draft pool will include players who qualified from the NBA 2K League Become a Pro Series, unretained players from last season, players who earned draft eligibility as part of the NBA 2K League Draft Prospect Series, and select competitors from the NBA 2K League APAC Invitational Presented by Cignal, the NBA 2K League European Invitational and the NBL Oz Gaming Tournament Series. The complete draft pool will be announced at a later date.

Wizards District Gaming will have the first overall pick, T-Wolves Gaming will have the second overall selection, and Pistons GT will have the third overall pick.  All 25 NBA 2K League teams will have completed their five-person rosters at the end of the three-round draft.  During the offseason, 89 players who competed in the 2023 season were retained by their teams.  Meason “Milo” Camille, who played for Pistons GT during the 2021 season, was selected for an NBL Oz Gaming roster spot from the NBL Oz Gaming Tournament Series in October.  Additionally, 2022 NBA 2K League MVP Ryan “Dayfri” Conger will return to the league as a player for Mavs Gaming after retiring in 2023.  With 91 players already rostered, a total of 34 roster spots will be filled during the draft.  For the complete draft order, click here.
