76ers Gaming Club showed incredible tenacity in Game 4 of the NBA 2K League Finals, taking a 53-46 win over T-Wolves Gaming on Saturday to force a 2-2 series tie.
After the 76ers seemed lost, defeated in Game 3, Radiant finally shined, coming through for his team when he had struggled all Finals long. Putting up a 24-point, 10-assist double-double, shooting 10-of-16 from the field and four-of-eight from three, Radiant looked like the MVP candidate that earned his team a Finals berth. Steez shined, as he does in the pick and roll when Radiant is playing well, scoring 14 points and picking up eight boards. The sloppiness from Game 3 was all but gone in this one as the Sixers only committed seven turnovers and four fouls. What’s more, the defense finally started making BearDaBeast work hard for his buckets, preventing the T-Wolves’ star from leading his team to a win. The game was still close, but the 76ers managed to rebound after a tilting loss heading into Game 5.
T-Wolves Gaming had the momentum heading into Game 4 but couldn’t put the series away. BearDaBeast had 16 points but couldn’t get the rest of his teammates involved, aside from FEAST, who had 13. The T-Wolves managed to have move shot attempts than the Sixers but the lack of three point shooting cost the Wolves, falling behind in that front seven shots to four. What’s more, the T-Wolves couldn’t help but commit fouls, drawing 10 personal fouls compared to the Sixers’ four. All-in-all, the T-Wolves didn’t get enough from JMoneyRep817, who had four points on a disappointing two-of-11 shooting. JMoney will need to play better next game, or else the T-Wolves will be just another tournament victim of the 76ers legacy.
