Bucks Gaming Dominate Lakers Gaming

June 21, 2019

Bucks Gaming (7-5) dominated Lakers Gaming (2-11) 77-32 on Friday during Week 9 of the NBA 2K League.

Bucks Gaming did whatever it wanted all game long. Holding the Lakers to just two points in the first quarter, the Bucks used an oppressive first quarter to rocket ahead of the Lakers. Chaddynick had one of his best games since shifting over to point guard, scoring 21 points on eight-of-10 shooting, four-of-six from three. As per usual, Plondo and Arooks both scored at will, with Plondo earning player of the match on a statline of 28 points, four rebounds, four assists and a whopping nine steals, while Arooks sniped his way to 24 points on six-of-nine shooting from beyond the arc. Defensively, the Bucks did a magnificent job of creating turnovers before the Lakers could even get set up in the half court, forcing a staggering 18 turnovers. It’s hard to say just how dominant the Bucks were as they improve their playoff standing with a win and adding some crucial buffer to its point differential.

Lakers Gaming scored two points and committed six turnovers in the first quarter. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the Lakers were only really competitive in the second quarter, where Mootyy picked up most of his team-high nine points. Poor Vert got bullied all match, turning the ball over 13 times as a large part of the team’s 22 turnovers. The Lakers attempted only 28 shots as a team, while the Bucks made 32 shots across 51 from the field.
