Games of the Week

Kings Guard Gaming 63, Bucks Gaming 61: A battle of two teams near the top of the standings came down to the final possession. Kings Guard trailed by double digits but used a 21-11 third-quarter run to close the gap. With things tied in the waning seconds, BallLikeSeem dribbled out the clock, spun in the lane and nailed a mid-range jumper for what would be the game’s final points. Bucks Gaming set up a play on the other end, but BigMeek couldn’t connect on a deep 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Nets GC 67, Lakers Gaming 57 (OT): Nets GC needed this win in the worst way as they entered on a four-game losing skid. They looked to have the W locked up late in the fourth quarter, before Lakers Gaming hung tight and forced overtime on KontruL’s layup. LA’s magic would run out, however, as Nets GC dominated OT, outscoring their opposition 10-0 to secure the victory on the strength of Wavy’s game-high 23 points.

Kings Guard Gaming 81, Pacers Gaming 61: Yes, this turned out to be a blowout, but not many would have predicted it would be Kings Guard hanging a 20-point victory on one of the league’s top defensive squads. This turned into a shooting clinic, with point guard Bp and his team exploding from distance as he set the individual 3-point record (11) while Kings Guard set the record for a team (20), with BallLikeSeem pouring in 7 of them himself.

Outstanding Performances

Bp, Kings Guard Gaming (41 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 11 3FGM) vs Pacers Gaming: For a player who has made his name for his slick handles, Bp put on a historic shooting display. It came against tough defensive matchup in Pacers Gaming, no less. He had his way from the outside, nailing 11 3-pointers in an effort for the ages.

ReeseDaGod, Wizards District Gaming (31 points, 3 steals) vs Jazz Gaming: Reese came alive in one of the best performances of his career. He carried the scoring load to help his squad get in the win column for the first time in the regular season. If that wasn’t enough, he turned around and poured in 29 points in the backend of the doubleheader as Wizards District completed the upset of Bucks Gaming.

CB13, Warriors Gaming Squad (25 points, 6 assists, 6 3FGM) vs Magic Gaming: Building off his solid showing at THE TURN, he kept it going with a team-high 25 points in a blowout win over Magic Gaming. CB13 has looked like a far more confident player in recent weeks, as has his shooting stroke, which has resulted in spike in productivity for sizzling WGS.

Hotshot, Heat Check Gaming (10 points, 15 rebounds, 9 assists, 4 steals) vs Cavs Legion GC: This wasn’t even his best game of the week as he nearly notched a pair of triple-doubles (he also went for 20 points, 14 rebounds, 9 assists in a loss to Pacers Gaming). But we’ll give the nod to the team result as the MVP candidate helped Heat Check to the win over Cavs Legion while welcoming Hood to the starting lineup.

Reizey, Magic Gaming (27 points, 6 assists, 7 3FGM) vs Pistons GT: When his shot is falling, look out. That was the case in this one as the rookie point guard displayed a patient offensive approach and took advantage of his open looks to the tune of 7 makes from long distance. He finished an efficient 10 of 13 overall from the floor.

FEAST (18 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals), T-Wolves Gaming vs Pistons GT: He doesn’t always get the recognition he deserves as an unassuming center on a squad with some big personalities. Yet, Feast has been as steady as they come from Day 1 and again dominated in the paint in putting together a solid all-around line in propelling T-Wolves Gaming to the win.
