Season Summary: It was a tale of two stories for Kings Guard Gaming in Year One. Sacramento came out the gate hot going 3-1 to open the regular season strong. Kings Guard would struggle through the next few weeks before one of the most memorable and exciting wins of the entire season. After winning the play in game over Warriors Gaming as the No. 17 seed, Kings Guard knocked off No. 1 seed and the defending tournament champion Blazer5 Gaming in dramatic fashion at THE TICKET tournament. The upset was arguably the biggest win of any team from the inaugural season of the NBA 2K League as Blazer5 Gaming had only lost one game since THE TIPOFF tournament.

Kings Guard went on to win their last game of the season and hopes to carry that into Season 2. Sacramento looks to build around two core pieces after retaining their leading distributor in Timelycook and top scorer in worthingcolt. Timelycook averaged 13.8 points and 6.9 assists, while worthingcolt posted 18.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game.
