Hot play down the stretch and through the playoffs defines the inaugural NBA 2K League season for Heat Check Gaming. Led by one of the top scorers and MVP candidate, Hotshot, Heat Check Gaming steamrolled through the final six weeks of the regular season and into the finals. After earning a No. 6 seed in the playoffs, Heat Check Gaming breezed past No. 3 seeded Pistons GT 85-67 in the quarterfinals before sweeping No. 2 seeded 76ers Gaming in the best-of-3 semifinals. After falling short of the NBA 2K League title by a combined six points over two games to Knicks Gaming, Heat Check Gaming will look to Hotshot and company to bring a championship to Miami in Season 2.
