Pacers Gaming (1-4) picked up their first win of the season over Knicks Gaming (2-4) in a 67-63 come-from-behind thriller. The last team in the league to notch a victory, the Pacers opted to switch up their lineup prior to the tilt, which ultimately proved to be a savvy move.
Knicks Gaming led by five after the first quarter, and held a comfortable nine-point lead at halftime. IdrisDaGoat6 and GOOFY757 combined for 27 points in the first half, while iamadamthe1st contributed 12 assists. They maintained their advantage through the third, and began the fourth with a six point lead. However, Pacers Gaming took the lead following a big bucket by Frosty the Truth late in the contest and never looked back.
Tucker Henry, the league leader in blocks, added three more in the victory. He also managed to log a career high 33 points to go along with 10 rebounds. Pacers Gaming only had one turnover in the second half, which helped fuel their comeback.
Pacers Gaming will look to carry their momentum in to next week’s matchup against the Pistons, while Knicks Gaming will try to rebound versus Heat Check Gaming.
