Bucks Gaming (5-8) earned their fifth win of the season against Warriors Gaming Squad Gaming Squad (2-10) to conclude Saturday’s early slate of Week 11 matches.
Warriors Gaming Squad edged out Bucks Gaming in the first half, via a second-chance bucket converted in the corner by LYKaPRO. It was a tight affair that saw Vert and type bully Bucks Gaming frontcourt in the paint, putting up 27 points combined and out-rebounding the whole team by four boards. While Golden State dominated the paint, Bucks Gaming played their game on the perimeter, ending the half on 6-of-9 shooting from deep.
After some halftime adjustments, Bucks Gaming made an 8-0 run to start the third quarter and ended it with a seven-point lead. From there, Milwaukee continued to keep the game out of reach with continued perimeter scoring along with throwing in some oLARRY buckets in the paint whenever he was open.
For both teams, turnovers were a major issue. By the end of the game, the two teams combined for 30 turnovers – over one per minute of play – and almost had a turnover ratio below one. That’s credited to both a strong defensive effort on both sides, but also what seemed to be a lack of communication on passes.
Warriors Gaming Squad and Bucks Gaming, while they will both most likely not make the postseason, will end the regular season with the potential to ruin playoff hopes for some teams. Golden State will face Pacers Gaming and Pistons GT in their last two contests of the year, while Bucks Gaming can put the final nail in Mavs Gaming’s coffin in a crucial week 12 matchup.
