Celtics Crossover Gaming (3-3) defeated Bucks Gaming (1-4) 84-65 in Saturday’s contest. The game was competitive in the first half, as Celtics Crossover Gaming led by just four after one. They added another three points to their lead in the second quarter, giving them a 40-33 advantage at the half. Bucks Gaming matched them bucket for bucket in the third leading to a seven point deficit to enter the fourth. From there things got ugly, as Bucks Gaming cut the lead to five, only to see Celtics Crossover Gaming score a subsequent 12 points. Overall, they went on a 26-12 run to end the game.
On the offensive end, Celtics Crossover Gaming were led by oFAB’s 11 points (4-13 FG, 1-7 3PT) and 22 assists, while ARSONAL x also had a double-double with 20 points (9-12 FG, 2-2 FT) and 12 rebounds. Profusion also had a big night with a team high 22 points (10-11 FG, 2-3 3PT), and Speedbrook connected on 5-of-10 triples for 15 points as well.
Bucks Gaming was led by Big Meek’s 21 points (10-16 FG) and 10 rebounds, while Game6Drake chipped in 14 points (5-14 FG, 2-8 3PT) and 16 assists. KinG PeroXide and XxSTL2LAxX both scored double digits with 11 points a piece. Although he was quiet in the offensive department, oLARRY provided a block and a steal on defense. All-in-all, it was not enough to keep the game competitive.
Celtics Crossover Gaming will look to stay hot when they matchup against Grizz Gaming next week, while Bucks Gaming will attempt to bounce back versus Knicks Guard Gaming.
