With a perfect 4-0 after two weeks of 2K League action, Raptors Uprising GC faced off against Knicks Gaming with a chance to remain unbeaten through five games. Game 1 was a rout thanks to a potent offensive output and 14 total steals from the Raptors. Raptors Uprising GC took a commanding 43-28 lead into halftime before tacking on 40 points in the second half and cruising to a comfortable 83-65 victory. Raptors Uprising GC leading scorer, point guard KennyGotWork, came up big with a game-leading 37 points to go with five steals, five triples and four assists. Timelycook rounded out the backcourt with 26 points and four steals of his own to fuel the high-powered offense. Center Sick One nearly posted a triple but came away one rebound shy, posting 11 points, 13 boards and nine dimes. For Knicks Gaming, Duck double-doubled with 24 points and 10 helpers, with OriginalMalik knocking in 21 points and CantGuardRob pulling down 10 boards to go with five assists and five swipes.

Trying to avoid a sweep, Knicks Gaming came out swinging in Game 2, taking a two-point lead into halftime after falling behind big in the first half of Game 1. The lead quickly dissolved in the third quarter as Raptors Uprising provided a big 25-14 run to turn a small deficit into a nine-point advantage. Knicks Gaming couldn’t overcome that lead and lost the series-clinching matchup 78-72. Once again, KennyGotWork led all scorers with 32 points – including 19 in the first half – to go with nine assists and another five triples. ReeceMode stepped up with 28 points (including 8-of-10 from deep), and Sick One provided nine rebounds, five assists and four steals for the victorious Raptors. Duck paced the offense for Knicks Gaming with 31 points and seven assists, OriginalMalik chipped in 21 points and CantGuardRob went for 16 rebounds, five assists and four blocks.

The themes of the evening were shooting and defense, which powered Raptors Uprising GC to the win. The squad drained a combined 23 triples on better than 50 percent shooting from long range and swiped 27 total steals in the two-game series. Raptors Uprising GC improve to 5-0 and remain one of only four undefeated teams in the league thus far. Knicks Gaming, on the other hand, drops to 1-2 after the Tuesday-night sweep.
